We are looking for a Filtration Engineer to join our R&D team here in Stockholm. You will work with dynamic and enthusiastic coworkers and help take our products to the next level. You are motivated by seeing the bigger picture and how you can contribute. This is a position for you who want to become the company’s specialist in filter technology.
Your future role
As a Filtration Engineer at Blueair, your primary responsibility will be to run technology and development projects as well as plan, perform, and evaluate our new filters for our air purifiers. You will have a leading role both technically and by developing new projects. As a Filtration Engineer, you will be responsible for filter development projects as well as running concepts and evaluations for new filter technologies. You will work with both particle and gas filtration and be responsible for developing standards for test procedures and defining test equipment. The role will vary, ranging from more complicated to easier tasks within the different projects.
This role also includes responsibility for our clean air lab facilities and collaborating with our labs in China and India as well as with external test labs. The role may also require trips to the company’s partners and factories.
- Product & technology development for both particle-and gas- filters
- Product & system testing with air purifiers, air quality monitors, and filters
- Verification & validation of filtration and performance according to standards
- Technology scouting of new filtration materials and solutions
- Drive Blueair technical filter specifications
- Perform analysis and tests on selected material, media, and solutions
- Be the owner of our filter library
Who you are
To thrive in this role, we believe you have experience working with filters and a solid interest in technology and testing new things. You like to solve problems and drive things forward as well as you use reflection as a way to drive evaluation progress to advance. In this role, you will work with a variety of assignments with different people and therefore like to be a team player. You think air particles and gases as well as data analysis and statistics are exciting.
- Master’s degree or higher - Specialization in ventilation, filtering, material, and/or chemistry is meriting
- Previous experience in the filter industry/distribution such as vacuum cleaners, and kitchen filters is meriting
- A strong interest in technology
- Laboratory work experience
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
