eCommerce Account Manager

This is a hybrid role that combines ECommerce Account Management and data analysis to support the sales function.    

The ECommerce Account Manager is responsible for executing ECommerce strategies that drive profitable growth and elevates brand awareness through direct sales, pure play e-tail and retail partners. The successful candidate will thrive on collaboration, and possess an understanding of the components of a profitable eCommerce operation, including customer experience, merchandising, content, conversion, retention, order fulfillment and logistics. The role will actively collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize processes and provide insights that will drive sales across all channels of the business.

The ECommerce Account Manager gathers data through multiple sources to create reports in order to support sales reviews, customer business reviews, trends, pricing, and item distribution. Creates and runs reports utilizing Excel skills to perform complex analytics that drive insights and actionable items. Leads the sales forecasting process and works collaboratively with finance, operations and demand planning.

Job Responsibilities 

- Manage and direct the day to day ECommerce activities to achieve Sales and Profit goals by monitoring and managing all sites portals, systems and sites for compliance, content, pricing and inventory.

- Manage the calendar for all planned ECommerce promotions, communicate the promotions across the company (as required);

- Observe and ensure proper responses to customer reviews and questions are being handled in a timely manner and one that promotes our brand. Track and log online product reviews and ratings, generate action plans to drive up reviews and ratings.

- Work with Brand Management to ensure that product appearance and placement on ECommerce sites is in line with industry best practices, brand expectations and is achieving ECommerce partners site requirements.

- Manage the system that maintains all product images, content, products specs, and videos.

- Work with internal stakeholders to plan the successful launch of new products for ECommerce.

- Identify new product opportunities based on online findings and use ECommerce as a testing platform to leverage potential success in traditional brick and mortar stores. Work closely with Senior Management to recommend product assortments for omni-channel retailers based on trends, market research, and sales data.

- Monitor everyday offerings and promotions from competitors online; regularly reviewing pricing and conducting audits on product categories. Follow new competitor product launches to the market, identify if there were any gains or insights from their launch that can be applied to Blueair.

- Work with customer operations to resolve any issues with ECommerce sales

- Determines annual unit and net sales plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budgets for Channels and Customers; projecting expected sales volume and for existing and new products.

- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Does item setup process to get new items added.

- Working knowledge of key retailer internal systems/organization (including Lowes EdgeNet, Home Depot SupplierNet, Best Buy Extending the Reach and Target Partners Online )

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree Required

·         3-5 years of sales/channel experience demonstrating steady increasing responsibilities

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data

·         Ability to make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered and analyzed.

·         Strong communication skills, able to communicate in a succinct manner

·         Knowledge of eCommerce

·         Additional knowledge of supply chain, finance and marketing

·         Ability to multitask and prioritize workload

·         Ability work collaboratively across multiple functions of the organization

·         Proficient in Windows Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (NetSuite a plus)
