HR Manager - part time

The HR Manager will lead Human Resource practices that result in a high performing, employee oriented culture.   This position is all things HR covering everything from benefits administration to recruiting to company culture.  As the ambassador of company values, the HR Manager will develop/implement/review HR policies and procedures that lead Blueair to achieve its business goals. As HR manager in US you will be part of the Global HR community. 

Responsibilities and Functions:

  •          Benefit administration - health/disability insurance, payroll, sick/vacation time, 401K, other benefits offered by Blueair
  •           Benefit Administration - sourcing and negotiation of benefits contracts/services to increase efficiencies and decrease costs
  •           Benefit Administration – primary contact for and manage external benefit/payroll agencies
  •           Recruiting – including writing job descriptions, posting, screening, interviewing, reference checking, compensation negotiation, offer extension. You will work closely with managers to understand needs and present qualified pre-screened candidates for consideration
  •           Onboarding –implement and follow Global onboarding structures adjusted to local needs so new employees are efficiently and comfortably integrated into the team.
  •          Onboarding – explanation of benefits, document compliance, culture, setting expectations
  •          Employee performance – including performance review planning/execution, compensation review, performance improvement programs, development plans, needs assessment, training
  •           Organizational Change – look for, and propose efficiencies when it comes to organizational structure. Be an active participant in organizational changes and employee role changes.
  •           Compliance – ensure Federal, state and local law compliance in all applicable places, posters/notifications, employee files and documentation
  •          Compliance – manage/revise/implement company policy manual.  Play an active role with management in developing company policies.  Workplace liability management.
  •           Culture – support the organization’s and employee’s wellbeing to secure and strengthen the organization’s culture and ethics.  Live the Blueair core values.
  •           Culture – act structured and proactively in all areas related to the daily HR work
  •           Employee relations – be available, listen to and provide guidance related to any employee issues/concerns/reports
  •           Employee relations – consult with appropriate parties to investigate and resolve employee complaints, concern          
  •          Be an active member of the Blueair management team in providing input in other areas not necessarily related to HR
  •           Work closely with management team keeping up to date on HR issues
  •           Work closely with Finance manager as it relates to financial implications such as contract renewals, benefit costs etc.


Qualifications:

  •           Bachelor’s Degree
  •           5+ years of experience within human resources and administration
  •           Superior understanding of benefits administration and sourcing
  •           Ability to create and implement new processes
  •           Accurate and Analytic
  •           Relationship orientated, ability to understand all types of persons and personality types
  •           Superior knowledge in labor law, work environment, compliance
  •           Excellent communication skills
  •           Ability to understand HR impact on business, different departments, and departmental needs
  •           SHRM certification
